Interests

Astronomy
Ever since I was a kid, I was fascinated by the universe's mysteries. I've loved learning, teaching, and exploring the cosmos, much like Carl Sagan's idea that "Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known." With my, ship, an 8" reflector telescope, I've been sailing in the cosmos to distant, amazing places.

Photography
Since I was a kid, I love capturing moments to keep their magic and relive them. I like to tell stories with my photos. You can often find me on the street, quickly typing notes on my phone so I don't forget any details. Over the years, I was active in my university's Photography Club, taught lessons, judged photo contests, and had fun.

Vintage Camera Collection
Many of us love the intricate mechanics of old objects, like cuckoo clocks, gramophones, or pinball machines. I enjoy collecting and using vintage cameras in today's digital world, much like classic car fans. Some cameras in my collection are from my childhood, some are family heirlooms, and others I got through online trading. For example, the camera in this picture is from 1916. It's amazing to think it was made when the Ottoman Empire still existed, and the Republic of Turkey was just a dream. Made by skilled workers far away, it has seen many memories, laughter, smiles, family dinners, and even survived wars. Now, I feel honored to have it and treat it with great care.

Audio-Visual Content Creation
I studied Mechanical Engineering, but my heart is in communication, PR, storytelling, and engagement. I try to use them in my projects whenever I can, in fun and creative ways.

Machine - Human Interaction
As a kid, I loved Tamagotchis, those virtual pets that felt so real. They needed care and could even make you feel sad when they got sick. Now, we have Siri, Google Assistant, Pokemon Go that mixes reality and virtual worlds, and ChatGPT that talks like a human, just like HAL from the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey". In the Netherlands, I worked on a project to raise awareness about climate change. We made a smart plant pot, like a high-tech Tamagotchi connected to a plant. It could talk too! We also talked to people to understand how they treat the environment. I loved making the plant pot more fun and interactive. This made me want to learn more about how machines and humans interact.
